ARIF BUDIMAN MALAY LANGUAGE TEACHER AWARD (AGAB) 2026

The Arif Budiman Malay Language Teacher Award (AGAB) 2026 recognises the contributions of Malay Language teachers in the teaching and learning of the Malay Language.

The award is open to all Malay Language teachers in the local mainstream schools who exemplify the following criteria:    

  • Inspire student engagement with the Malay language, literature and culture through creative teaching approaches and digital learning tools that foster interactive experiences, while equipping students with 21st century competencies;

  • Demonstrate care and concern for their students' well-being, holistic development and personal growth; and

  • Embody the values of Arif Budiman, a learned person who contributes to society through excellent and exemplary service as an educator.

NOMINATION FOR MOST INSPIRING TAMIL TEACHER AWARD 2026

The Most Inspiring Tamil Teachers' Award recognises Tamil Language teachers in primary and secondary schools, junior colleges and Millennia Institute who have made significant contributions to the teaching and learning of Tamil Language.

This award is open to all Tamil Language teachers in MOE schools who exemplify the following criteria: 

  • Teachers who nurture students’ interest in Tamil Language by using innovative methods, including the effective use of educational technology to make lessons more engaging and interactive; and

  • Dedicated and passionate teachers who demonstrate a keen interest in students’ well-being while developing 21st century competencies for them to be future-ready.

NOMINATION FOR INSPIRING TEACHER OF ENGLISH AWARD 2026

The Inspiring Teacher of English Award acknowledges teachers who have been instrumental in igniting a love for the English Language and are effective in helping their students communicate better. These teachers are passionate about making English interesting and relevant to their students and are innovative in engaging their students to help them learn English better.

The Award salutes these teachers for their continual learning and constant efforts to upgrade themselves to benefit their students and schools.

NOMINATION FOR DISTINGUISHED CHINESE LANGUAGE TEACHERS AWARDS 2026

Organised by Lianhe Zaobao and ZBSchools, the Distinguished Chinese Teachers Awards aim to give due recognition to deserving Chinese Language teachers who have demonstrated exemplary efforts towards the teaching of Chinese Language and culture over the past year. The awards also recognise the efforts of teachers who have successfully fostered in their students an appreciation for Chinese Language and culture.

All Chinese Language teachers with at least five years of teaching experience in MOE primary, secondary, pre-university, junior colleges and IP schools are eligible (except for past winners).
